One token can grow into a network.
Every new token grows from one before it.
You choose who receives the next.
PASS is a generative artwork, fully on Ethereum.
Meet the Genesis KeyThe idea
Hold one. Create the next.
An active token lets its holder mint a child from it. Each token can have up to three children.
Choose who receives it.
Keep the child or mint it straight into someone else’s wallet. After it ripens, it can continue the network.
Fixed once minted.
A token never changes. Only the range available to future mints gradually narrows.
A token must ripen before it can create a child. Its age and used child places stay with it when ownership changes. The first child is the cheapest. Prices will be announced.
See how a network could grow, in a simulation of the first 400 tokens.
How PASS starts
Genesis Key
A 1/1 auctioned on networked.art. The first bid starts a 24-hour auction; a bid in the final 15 minutes resets the clock to 15 minutes.
#0 and #1
The holder of the Genesis Key activates the work, receives #0 and chooses the wallet that receives #1. PASS starts with a connection.
Fast first weeks
New tokens ripen in 6 hours in week one, 1 day in week two, 3 days in week three, then 7 days.
Then it is up to everyone.
The reserve price and auction date will be announced before the Genesis Key is listed.
The Genesis Key
The Genesis Key is a separate 1/1, auctioned on networked.art. Its owner receives the one-time right to activate PASS, mint #0 and choose who receives #1.
After activation, the right is gone. The artwork remains as a record of who opened the network.
Auction coming soon.
